TZFM201 Autumn week 4 Little Venice and Paddington

Little Venice and Paddington basin are part of an generally overlooked area of Victorian London that is often ignored on the London tourist trail. This quaint corner of the metropolis has artistic influence from the local boat and land community the present and past.

My intent in the half a dozen photos is to introduce a remarkably interesting part of inner London to the wider population and tourist guides. Showcasing some of the history and contrasting modernity that a vibrant city will always generate.

The shoot will take place during the day in wintry sunlight in mid-November.

The scope of the shoot will be to show the Victorian aspect of the original industrial usage as well as show some of the brutal 1960s construction of the important transport link of the Westway together with some of the historical aspects which survive and some of the new aesthetic architecture.
